QUADRILLE x KITCHEN PROVISIONS COOK BOOK CLUB: "Agak agak" with Shu Han Lee

We were thrilled to welcome Shu Han Lee to our Borough Yards store to celebrate the launch of her latest cook book "Agak Agak" which celebrates Singaporean food.

We talked through Shu's career from expat student to blogger to recipe developer and found out more about product development as chief Chef and spice blender at Rempapa. Shu shared her food memories from Singapore, the importance of key store cupboard ingredients.

We then moved on to a quick demo making rojak salad - a mix of pineapple, cucumber, herbs, peanuts and a chilli-tamarind dressing - with Jun from the KP team who is also Singaporean. Shu got her hands on a KP knife for the veg prep and the chat was top hawker spots, childhood food memories, and how to choose the best soy sauce. We then got to taste the salad alongside other dishes that Shu had prepared in advance.
