Shipping Policy


We aim to process all orders within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please bear in mind when you order that, due to weekends and bank holidays, it might take a little longer than normal for your order to arrive. We would be grateful if you could select the shipping option that best reflects your need to receive your items and your anxiety about their whereabouts.


Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We are obliged to comply with the regulations for posting Bladed Articles and Bladed Products as defined by Offensive Weapons Act 2019 and send any bladed items on an Age Verified service. This will require you to sign for and provide proof of age when receiving your order. Products affected include knives, mandolins, scissors and secateurs. The Age Verified postage options will be automatically presented to you at check out. Please bear this in mind when choosing how and where you will receive your parcel. 


We are able to provide tracking information for orders sent via Royal Mail or Parcelfore. Please note that, for parcels coming with Royal Mail, tracking information is only provided once the first delivery attempt has been made; it is not a real time tracking service. 


Orders purchased through the website can be collected at either store. Please indicate which shop you would like to pick up from in your order notes. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection.

We are able to ship across Europe using UPS, Parcelforce and Royal Mail (dependent on what you order). The rates are calculated at checkout but range from £13 for EU countries to £25 for other European countries. For other international destinations not listed, please email we will try and arrange the best shipping rate for you. 

When placing orders outside the UK, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the item can be legally imported to the destination country. International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, alongside additional charges for customs clearance. These must be met by the customer. Kitchen Provisions has no control over these charges and we are not able to calculate what they might be. 

If a shipment is refused because of import fees, Kitchen Provisions will not refund original or return shipping charges. Please contact your local customs office for more information on charges. Customs clearance can add additional time to delivery timeframes and unfortunately this is not something we can predict or control. 

Please also note that we are unable to send ceramics internationally. If your order includes ceramics, these items will be refunded prior to dispatch. 


When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. You can also track your order here.


We try to process orders the same or next day. Any orders that are placed after 9am will be processed the following day. We send out orders Monday to Friday all year round. Obviously things can take slightly longer at busy periods when we endeavour to get things out as quickly as possible but if there is likely to be any delay, we will be in touch.

If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

It is worth noting that most packages will be too big for your letterbox. You may receive a "something for you" card from Royal Mail or similar from Parcelforce. It is helpful if you can use an address where it will be easy for you to take delivery.
