Refund policy

Please email us here to log your return and receive information about where and how to send it. If you have any questions about your purchase or the refund policy, please get in touch, we will be happy to hear from you! 

30 DAY RETURNS PERIOD

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Perishable goods are exempt from being returned.

If an item is not its its original condition, is damaged or missing parts not due to our error, you may only be eligible for a partial refund. A partial refund will also apply if an item is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

DAMAGED ITEMS

In the unlikely case that your item arrives damaged or faulty, please get in touch within 48 hours so that we can help. We check over all products before they are dispatched and all of our knives are made by experienced craftspeople who are experts in their field. Please make yourself familiar with the knife care instructions on the site and review the difference between carbon and stainless knife care. If you are not sure about the care requirements or properties of a particular knife, please drop us an email before you purchase. 

We will replace or refund any items which arrive at their destination faulty or damaged. Please bear in mind that we will need photos of the original box before it was opened, how it was packed, and what the damage is. Email us to let us know of this problem. 

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not received a refund, please check your bank account or contact your credit card company as there is often takes some time to process a refund. We are told that processing times are five working days as a minimum. If you have done this and have still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@kitchenprovisions.co.uk.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item as it is defective or damaged, please email us so we can assist.  

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be provided with the information about the return.

SHIPPING OF RETURNS

Unless the item is faulty, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not able to guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

It is also possible to return or exchange items in store. Please bring your original order number with you.
