East Village Market - A new venue for Sundays

We love a good market. New and exciting produce to discover and the guarantee of a good lunch and possibly a doughnut after. There is no better way to while away a weekend. We have been at Druid Street Market with the Japanese knives and a knife sharpening service, and Schoolyard Market (an offshoot of Broadway Market) every Saturday for some time now. Now, we are adding a new one to the calendar - East Village Market where we will be popping up every other Sunday.

East Village Market is located in what was the Olympic Park just a stone's through from Westfield Stratford. It might be a little further east but it is well worth making the journey to take a look at the market and also spend some time nosing around the Olympic village and the new housing development (really quite impressive), picking up some essentials in Westfield, or taking a look at the new bars and shops that have appeared in deepest darkest East London. The other traders are all top notch with a great mix of things to eat straight away, goods to take home to eat there, and other beautiful pieces of kitchen equipment and kits to treasure for ever (*cough*). In short, check out their instagram and head east to E20 for your market action.
