A cute little knife. Surprisingly adept at, you guessed it, spreading.

It sounds mundane but is worth bearing in mind on three counts. Firstly, in the interests of "elevating the everyday" and having a classy, instagram-worthy breakfast set up, use this to spread your crushed avocado. Secondly, if you are fussy about crumbs in your butter or contamination of the jam, grab a couple of these and allocate them to each topping. Problem solved. Thirdly, and most seriously, the knife alongside a pot of jam would make a really proper lovely gift. You're welcome.
