2023: new shop Borough Yards

It is officially official. 2023 is the year that we go south of the river. Borough Market in fact. Where could be a more appropriate new home than the most famous London food mecca. We will be nestled in just past the fresh fruit and veg, the artisan cheese, and THOSE sausage rolls (Ginger Pig, my NBF) in a new development called Borough Yards

In the way that only big cities can, new space has been carved out of a forgotten area between train tracks to create a new must-visit area. The restaurant offering is in full swing - hello lunchtime tapas at Barrafina - as is the newest branch of Everyman.

The space is a vast railway arch with huge scope to plot out our industrial-chic offering. The planning cogs are whirring full force as we get going on the fit out, the staircase and work out technical logistics and the look and feel. It will be a lot of work but we promise the results are going to be quite spectacular. The plan is for a massive knife wall, all the kitchen tools and ceramics, topped off with a full service knife sharpening service. The opening is pencilled in for March. Watch this space.
