A vegetable brush - or tawashi - is pretty much a staple at any Japanese sink. While you may not have call to scrub down burdock or lotus root, this can also be used equally well with carrots or potatoes.

We think that this embodies the Japanese aesthetic of form following function and will make even scrubbing potatoes or dishes a pleasure.

Saunders says:

"This is an all natural Japanese scrubbing brush made from coconut fibres. It is exceptionally durable and will outlast any sponge you have at home. Due to its toughness you need less soap so will up your green credentials. I use one for my vegetables and the other for my cast iron cookware which hates soap".

The brushes are from our sister company, Lucky Hedgehog. Measures 6 x 5 x 2.5cm. We also have other sizes available.
