A classic nakiri shape and exactly the same as the kurouchi finish nakiri but this one is for those who like things shiny and high in carbon. 

 

SHAPE: Nakiri. A traditional shape used for cutting vegetables.

STEEL: Shirogami (white) 2 steel. It is a reactive carbon steel which is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. This steel is frequently paired with a kurouchi finish and is often chosen for traditional-style Japanese knives.  

FINISH: Polished with a sandblasted primary bevel.

HANDLE: Oval shaped chestnut wood handle
