What I would call a sandwich knife. Just leave it on the cutting board and use it for everything.
SHAPE: Buckels. This knife is just as capable at spreading butter as cutting hard salami.
STEEL: Stainless steel or carbon steel.
FINISH: Polished or fine glazed. This is a process seldom seen in Solingen today. It involves smoothing or polishing the blade surface using using progressively finer compounds. This creates a very smooth feeling blae while also helping with rust prevention.
